Im gonna get a dx5e for the airplane and any future planes i may get. Thought I would check here first before going to shmeebay and looking around. So, anyone got one they aren't using? Or better yet, a really cheap dx6i? ;D yeah I know I should just save and get a dx6i but I'm really broke right now and I'll probably be getting more planes before i get another heli.

I was supposed to get a DX6i for christmas, but it ended up being a scmeebay piece of junk. My daughter is still trying to get her money back. I can live without it for now. I've got 2 DX5e's, but I can't part with either one. I use one for planes with elevon mixing and the other for non mixing so I don't have the dip switches do I need to throw now question every time I fly. ;D Hope someone here can help. If they can't, you might check RCGROUPS.

I don't know about that one Doozer. My brother got his at our LHS for the same price with the AR500 RX. That one might not have an RX since it was taken from a sim.

yeah, I don't know what they would go for. I just saw that one for sale about an hour before. You're right, I went and checked out Horizon. It said $59 but that still a lot less than $99. I sent that guy an email with a link to Horizon's web page. He's either comping the wrong transmitter, or trying to make some money. He probably just made a mistake. Anyway, sorry for the mistake.

It would be a smokin' deal if it came with a rx. You'd be getting a TX for free. However... it doesn't. That's a TX only deal. It's not a bad price, thanks to Ernie. He claims it's new, pulled from a Phoenix Sim package, and new DX5e's go for $59.99 from Horizon www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPMR5500 You might be able to find one on ebay too.
