I'm looking for some STRONG metal gear servos for the retracts on my 90mm F-4E. I guess they are micro servos,,,the ones on there are 23x13x28mm.
I don't know where to start looking.
I'm not sure if there is enough room to put minis in there.
They can be slow,,actually the slower the better but they need to be strong!
Any ideas??
THX!

My Stryker buddies use the HiTec servos. They come in metal gears.

I have some Turnigy servos that I bought for my HK600 build. I have not used them in the heli yet, but I have played with them on the bench. These are amazing. FAST and really powerful! The quality is very good. I opened it up and the gears are beautiful.
Those would probably be good, too!
They also make a little board that plugs between the receiver and servo that slows down the servo, too, made just for retracts. I seem to remember seeing those at my LHS. Kent

Yea Kent,,,I saw one at rcdudes,,it's called a 'servo rate reducer',,I'll get one and see how it goes. I just ordered those turnigy servos,,,,AND,,,HK just listed their new Turnigy Mega 400W charger for $79.95,,ordered one of those too.

If you don't buy a servo that is made for retracts that programmer should do the job.
