Dave has a tube type one. Sol and 19k both had RCs back in the day. Basically a bird on a string ;D

Kent. Looks like a Depron. I didn't look at the plans. I'm not sure if you could convert to EPP or a combo of EPP and Depron. Sure looks cool though.

Actually, I did have a heli like that, many moons ago. There was a egg beater type of crank at one end of a speedo cable and the other end was connected to the rotor. You cranked it on one end which made the blades turn. Not a whole lot of fun since the cable was only 2 or 3 feet long. Just long enough to give you a good slap when it got out of control which was about 99% of the time. Even less interesting when the cable got a kink in it.

Yeah, I come from far back in RC history. When RC used to mean: REALLY wish I had CONTROL of that thing. ;D

I remember those helis too sol. I never had one but a friend did.

That's the second X-Wing Fighter video I've seen. There's one on the RC Powers Forum that is a true X-Wing Fighter, right out of Star Wars. Its unbelievable. Its a bunch of foreign guys maidening the thing.

I'll see if I can find the link.

Oh, and the launching thingie is cool too, Kent/BT!
