Clicked the spoilerons on in a turn too early on my landing approach. She tip stalled and dove hard and I lost her behind a building - way behind a building. I think it landed in a jungle swamp area behind my complex. The brush is so thick I couldn't get in there if I wanted too. I throttled it up twice and could hear it off in the distance, but the third attempt she was silent.
Fudge.

Oh man, that's a bummer. Things just seem to happen. Tune into my "Did you fly today?" post. It isn't as bad as yours, but it goes to show you shite happens.

Bummer deal!! Have you looked to see if there is another way into the forest?
I've seen some of that super thick brush in Florida though, and even an alligator couldn't get through.
What a shame! Kent

LHS had a BNF on sale for $299. Missing the stock battery. I folded and bought it. She's all built and ready to fly tomorrow. Just down one 3600mah Turnigy. Still got the two 3700 Power Edge batts and one 3600 Turnigy. I think I'll be OK.

I agree with Kent. Best not to risk those dangers lurking in the underbrush. The scrub palmetto is like razor blades and you never know what you'll find in the way of fauna. I used to play in that stuff when I was a kid with my cousin. We'd catch snakes and stuff. I don't know how we survived the coral snakes, rattlers and pythons. ;D That's a good deal for the BNF. Keep it close.
