So I wiffed my T-28 a few weeks back. The battery must have shifted and pulled the elevator servo connector right out of the receiver. I was inverted at the time so the plank basically came straight down, full throttle, nose first. I'm shocked that there wasn't more damage. Little glue on the wing and fuselodge, new motor mount, and new cowl was all the body damage there was. Fried the esc and the motor though.
My LHS guy recommended I upgrade to an E-Flite Power 10 motor with the larger propeller. He also suggested I try the 4S batteries I had purchased for my EDF.
Holy poop! Totally different plank now. I would estimate that I'm reaching speeds of 70 mph. I scared all the parents and their kids outta the park with this thing. Its a blur when it roars past me on the straight away. The dives are insane too!
I wonder what it would be like with the Power 30 motor...
