I thought this sounded like fun! It's called the Skycart. The plans came from RCGroups. It's all EPP. I haven't flown it yet. The wheels are made from 3mm black EPP. The body from 9mm. It's all 1.3#. It's a simple build! Kent  |

Parts: Turnigy 2730-1500kv motor. Turnigy Plush 18a ESC. GWS 8x4.3 slo-fly prop. Turnigy 3s 20c 500ma Lipo. Spektrum 6110. HXT-900 servos (3). 3mm carbon tubes (2). Motor mount from HC (comes in packs of 10). Mario and the wheels are graphics printed on normal printer paper. These were attached to the EPP with 3M 77. This works amazingly well! Well, I finally flew this thing at the flying field today. I have had to work a lot and the weather has been bad lately, so today has been the first chance to fly it...
I first tried to fly it from the grass at the flying field. Full throttle made the thing go really fast on the ground and it would spin easily with the rudder control, but it would NOT lift off. A couple of folks were saying that cars were not allowed at the field! I could hear them grumbling in the background..... I tried again in the grass. No liftoff...
Then I pulled out onto the runway and hit WOT with full up elevator. POOF, I was airborne! I could hear folks laughing in the background! I also heard, "See, I told you it could fly!"
Anyway, it handles like flying a garbage can, a tank, a Prius, or anything that you can think of that is not meant to fly.
I'll have to work on that! It had many comments today from the kids, too!
This is all too much fun!

No cars. That's a hoot!
Maybe if you put a picture of a pilot on it, it might fly more like an airplane. ;D
