Just a quick note about the shelby.. Had it 41 years. I did a ground up restoration in 1998, with a little help from Gabe. It really turned out to be a family project, with both my boys and my wife. It only took 5 mos from the day I disassembled it to completion. It took 1st place in its class at the Northern Calif Shelby club Mini Nationals that year. Carroll Shelby also signed the glove box and on the body at the drivers side front cowl. We will be at the National Shelby club meet at the end of August (27-29) at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma Ca. if anyone is intersted. There should be around 500+ shelbys and cobras there.. Vintage racing, Drags, open track, and more.. I will have the track car there also, so if any of you guys do show up, I would be glad to give you a ride around the track . Chris
