I just finished building up a Great Planes Evader! The attached photo is how I have mine stickered. It comes with stickers to make it military or like this, a clean sport look. This thing is a work of art, with a fiberglass fuselage and built up wing and tail with monocote. The EDF is a Hyperflow with an Ammo 24mm 3790kv inrunner motor running 4s. This thing SCREAMS at around 50k rpm on 4s. I'm just now finishing up breaking it in. My ears hurt! These are supposed to be 100+ mph out of the box. There is one at the Austin flying field that flies amazingly smoothly. My Funjet is faster than it by a little, but it just looks amazing in the air. That's the one I flew with. These are new and are pretty much sold out everywhere. I was able to find one. I hope to maiden it this weekend! Kent Attachments:

One of the guys at the flying field has had one on backorder for over a month now. I have one of the Great planes Rifles on backorder myself.

Those Rifles sound very interesting, Tony!
Unfortunately, my Evader is now toast. A Spektrum AR-6110E decided to ignore me for a few seconds on the maiden. Straight down into thick woods. I found it after searching with some awesome helpers. The electronics are still good. I don't know if I'll rebuild this, as the airframe is expensive and I am really not impressed with the 'Hypercrap' fan unit, or the weak tail.
I think I'll use the motor on my Great Planes L-39, which uses the same Hypercrap fan, but came with a really small motor. The Evader motor is way stronger.
The Evader is supposed to be back in stock next month. One thing though, what they say is true. These are 100+ mph out of the box. They are like on rails, but they do not like G's. Don't throw it around in the sky like you might a Funjet or Stryker! These require smooth flying. That is something else I don't like about it. Kent

That L-39 ought to rip with the bigger motor. Make sure you re-measure the CG.

Yeah, 19k, I actually ordered a new 'Hypercrap' fan unit and I'm building that very carefully with the motor out of the Evader. The really nice thing about the L-39 is that it has a hatch over the EDF where maintenance is a breeze! It is glued in, but minimally. The Evader fan is epoxied in, so forget working on that. You can remove the motor, but that is a pain, unless the fuselage is opened up like mine is from the crash!
I actually have never flown my L-39. It has been a desk ornament. It is really nice looking, but it felt way low on power, so I never flew it. Unfortunately, the foam on this is the older stuff. Oh well.
I will soon fly it! Kent

Looks like the same airframe as the Habu - without the rudder. Any input?

The Evader is MUCH smaller than the Habu! So is the Great Planes L-39. These run a little 55mm fan at crazy rpms.

Oh wow! 55mm?
I bet the airframe is less draggy too. Interesting...
I may have to look into this, after the darkside stryker build, after the funjet build, after the .....
