I just noticed something about the Extra 300 by E-flite that makes it all the more enticing - the wings are detachable with a socket wrench.
With the 52" wingspan, there's no way its getting in my '02 Mustang. There may be hope for this puppy.

Yep, the Elfite Extra wing comes off very easily. Same with the PKZ Extra. Really makes the planes very portable.
You might want to take a closer look at the PKZ Extra. It's smaller and you probably wouldn't need to take off the wing to get it in your 'stang. Plus, since it's foam, it's easier to repair.
