Whatever you do, don't try to catch your RC Powers F-22 right after throttle up when a tail wind blows it out of you hand: No stitches, just lost the tip - which they tell me will grow back. No lacerations, just areas where the prop dug out my skin. Good times...good times.

Guess you won't be doing any eye gouges for a while....Shows you how long it's been since I went to a wrestling match. I've heard of a few people that won't hand launch these pusher jets after prop accidents. This is the first time I've heard of anyone trying to catch one by the tail. Play safe man.

Great idea, which one did you order? I know Kent was looking for one a while back.

OH MAN!!! I can feel that, Gabe!!!
You know, a plane with a 40 nitro motor cut off my pinky 25+ years ago. A little Chinese surgeon spent more than two hours under a microscope gluing my finger back on. He was amazing. I was watching. He was doing it right there in the emergency room of the hospital, as he said there was no time for operating room preparation. They just strapped my arm down and he went to work. They just pumped a bunch of numbing stuff in my wrist, enough to swell it up.
Well, my finger WORKS, for the most part. It took a year, but I can move it! It is numb, but I can kind of feel pressure if you hit it with a hammer. That is amazing. I can type on a keyboard using it on the right!
Anyway, feel very very lucky Gabe, that the prop didn't hit you a little lower on your finger. The tippy top probably bled alot, and it might be numb too when it grows back, as there are a lot of nerves there. Kent

Yup - no feeling in it now. I totally am blessed it didn't go any lower.
As far as the bungee goes, I grew a pair and decided to hand launch my FJ today. Awesome as always.
