The following is an email that I had to send to these guys on 8/10/2010.

Jeff,
What you say may be true about adding in the shipping from Hobby King. But you add on your site say nothing about doing this or that this will be consider.

If you are going to say and I quote "special promotion price--(price match lowest , email us if had link info )" then you should follow through with what you advertise.

I still plan on ordering the $199 plus dollars worth of items I have waiting in my basket on your site, but I will promise I will look elsewhere next time.

I guess the old saying "Truth in advertising" is not worth the paper it is written on anymore.

As far as I am concerned it is false advertising if they do not follow through with what the advertise. It clearly states that all you have to do is provide a like to the lesser priced item and that they will match it. It is not worth the trouble of a legal out come but I can promise you that I will not return to their site for any future purchases and I may even cancel the items I have waiting in my cart on their site.

This is my two cents, what do you think

There are many online dealers out there with comparable products that won't give you the run-around, there is no reason you should put up with any sh!t. Gimme their address and me, BT and Gabe will pay them a visit ;D

The problem is that noone in the world can compete with Hobbyking. They have the luxury of massive volumes and can demand ultra cheap wholesale prices.

I read somewhere over there that they only very recently broke even at Hobbyking! Think of that. Only in China would you virtually own a global market and not make any money.

I heard HK is owned by an Aussie. He has all his vendors set up for a big fall. He'll pack up his millions and hit the road. Just second hand info/rumors, but who knows. ;D

They just don't get it. It seems now they are willing to give by a whole $10.00.....$90.00. Come on guys either back up your ad or pull it.

Anybody that reads this needs to go to www.cnchelicopter.com and see if you can get them to honor their ad on the flymentor with the lower price at hobby king.
