I thought I would push the button on one of these new clone spectrum receivers. Everyone seems to say how great they are and not a reported glitch so far....... Until I bought one there ya go if its going to turn to S#@t it will on me that's how the companies should test them send them to me. I received it bound it to my LP5 everything worked hurray now for the range test 3 feet thats it!!!!! I cant fly with it 3 feet away . So I tried it with my DX6I wow thw range went to normal but after I powered it down and powered it back up the throttle and rudder would not work ;D So I rebound it to the LP5 the throttle and rudder would not work there either...sometimes. As far as workmanship they look about the same now I get to see how there cutomer service is I hope it is better than this receiver.. Ray

False alarm I thought I tried every senerio but I got 19000 on the phone and after a few trial and errors 19000 got it figured out. The 3in1 I tried it on that I was sure was good is not the LP5 that I was just sure is good is not. So I hooked it ot a bunch of servos and a esc with a brushless motor and bound it to the DX6I and it worked!!!!! So it looks like these receivers are OK I just have to send my LP5 into Horizon and get it fixed that will be better than sending a receiver back. www.targethobby.com/spectrum-ar6100-e-mini-receiver-v16-on-sale-p-4161774.html

I range tested three of these clones today using 150% of the distance recommended by Horizon on their Rx's. Then I tested them to 1000 ft. in normal radio mode on the ground. Seemed to work great. I'll test them in flight soon. I'll fly them in a plane I won't mind loosing so much first. Yep, they look like the real thing until you turn them over. They have Target's own serial number affixed to the back.

I fixed my LP5 it was a broken antenna lead again with some aid from 19000 I guess I am having a brain delay today 19000 said if I didn't figure out what was wrong with the LP5 he was going to drive down and beat the hell out of me ;D Since he only lives a couple hours away and I have to be to work Monday I thought I better fix it.. I think 19000 use to be a motivational speaker Ray

Yeah, I was driving down 35 to give Ray a major ass whooping when the batteries ran out in my power chair. I called Ray and he gave me a ride home. I punched him in the arm the whole way. I think he has learned his lesson.

I had a reply from Target hobby they had another receiver ready to be shipped out and wanted mine back. I explained to them the problem that I had and that I would keep the receiver I have, but I would say that is pretty good service. :)Ray
