That's where I bought my 6110 from he is real decent to deal with. Some people are claiming that the 6100 are not clones but the real thing it is claimed that the company making them use to make them for horizon if you can believe that story. It might have been Dave that told me that so disregard Dave is looking to cook another kitty..

Thanks guys, Im going to my LHS tomorrow to buy, I have a $50 gift card to use. Man this is probably the hardest decision in this hobby I have ever made. Do I bite the bullet and get the dx6i or do I save $100 and get the dx5e and run the risk of maybe wanting something more later.

You will want and need something later and for the extra $50 you can get a DX6I its well worth the money and you will wish you did if you buy the other. Dave can tell you more after he wakes up from his nap .. Ray

You can't see the price unless you put it in the cart. 123.99 plus shipping.

Well guys I went to my LHS today and made a purchase and guess what I bought? This was a pretty hard decision. Find out on the next show of What Will Basher Choose? Just jokin. Im now the proud owner of a DX6i! I bought it with the AR6200. I would of bought it without the receiver but I figured I would just get a rx now and not have to wait. My LHS also gave me a free Losi t-shirt which is a car brand. I talked to another person at my LHS and he said that the Dx6i is a great tx, he used to have one but now has a DX7. The guy I talked to had a Trex 600 and 700. Does the Dx6i come with a male and female bind plug? I lost the bind plug before I even got home and eventually found the male plug under the seat. The first time I opened the box up I lost it at first I thought that it wasnt even in the box. But I didnt see a female plug? I only need the male plug, the female is for aircraft that has a reciever battery. You guys are right about bind plugs being easy to loose. Thanks guys for all your help on helping me decide. I have a lot of reading to do now...

Thanks guys. I have a question though did your dx6i's come with 2 bind plugs, 1 male and 1 female?

I don't remember getting a male plug with mine...just a female. Actually the bind plug comes with the Rx. I have several, if you're missing one.

Congrats rc. That combo you bought is a lot cheaper than buying them seperately and the 6200 is one of their best Rx's. More than you'll really need for the SC or G2, but great for a 450, or larger size heli, or a big plane. Never hurts to have more than less.

Thanks guys, I already bound it to my mcx and it works great. I read the manual from cover to cover too. Now Im going to try and put the receiver in my g2. To end the confusion I was wondering if your guys dx6i's came with both of these plugs- www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPM6803 or just this one which is the male- www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPM6802 . I dont need a bind plug, when I opened the box for the first time yesterday I thought the bind plug was missing. But after searching around I found the male but didnt know if it came with a female too because in the manual on I think page 18 it shows both. The male plugs into the reciever without a rx battery and the female is used to bind a rx with a rx battery using a switch harness. If you look in the manual at the pictures itll make more sense.

Ok, this must be something new in the DX6i box. What I was referring to is actually called the male (from your links). That's the plug you'll need to bind the Spektrum Rx's, as you've already found out. I've never needed the female plug, so I can't comment on it.
BTW, congrats on the purchase. More money than you wanted to spend, but you'll definitely like what it can do.
