Started getting parts in the mail today. This build is almost ready to go. Got the frame. It is more like a #68B than a G2. The G2 has a double gear. The second drives a small pulley that drives the tail rotor.Well, not any more. The second gear is elliminated and replaced with a more TREX type drive.Pulley mounted on the main gear. The tail gear is EXACTALLY like my TREX's. The main rotor head is the same thing I used on every Walkera heli I ever owned. Carbon fibre tail rotors and foamie mains with fiberglass backups. New Spektrum 6100E RX. Aluminum/steel landing gear. Align gyro. All will be stuffed into the new CNC/CF frame. Take one last look at this little wimp. It's time is at an end ;D

Should be simple as he!l. One glitch though. I sold my tools to a kid in rcdisgust.
Not to worry. My new ones are enroute. It's a Luck kit.Same as the EXI kit I had except it includes a balancer.

I still haven't officially started the build.I just through some things together to see if I like the colors.I do ;D How about you guys? I'm taking it back apart because I'm looking for a blue anodized tail boom. Anyone know where to get one? I also need a pair of blue CNC tail servo holders.

I don't like these shrunken pix.You need to open the link to them and blow them up to see them right.
No big deal though. Two more mouse clicks. Dial up would suck though.

I still don't have my new tools but I'm making do. The ball joints on the swashplate are the wrong size.Going to order new ones. No inner shaft with the main shaft. No core for the washout block. Ordering these. No flybar.I had one and sent it to dube No biggie.Just add it to the order. No flybar paddles. Hmmm. I'm just so used to having all this stuff on hand. Since I switched to eccpm I've gotten rid of all my mccpm stuff. Starting over is a pain. This build is having some serious delays. Sorry guys. I would like to just sell it as is for a big loss and concentrate on my TREX. If noone buys it in a week,I'll jump into it with both feet.

I'm glad you joined us here CP. Looking forward to seeing the project finished. The ball joints on the see saw need to be the next size bigger. They are already ordered and I'll forward them to you as soon as I get them. The fly bar and shaft sleeve with core is in the same order.I hope I can get it all to you before you get to it.

OK.This is too funny. In one post or another 19000 made a comment on my dumping this project thereby shaming me into doing it. So.... I have ordered all the parts and I'll be starting over. This time,I also have a CPD4 Co-Pilot from fmadirect.com enroute as well.I think the price was lower than last time I fiddled with one.$69. I also went with different blades as I plan to keep the yellow theme of the G2. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=230324229144OK,19.I'm going to make you lose that bet
