Here's my first video of the Stryker. I was attempting to get a doppler analysis on the sound file for a speed reading. I botched the doppler analysis though. I was flying way too high and not long enough at WOT to get a good reading. I was at about 100-150' in the air and Mopar suggested 5' off the deck for the best analysis, 3 seconds before the camera and keeping it WOT 3 seconds past.
Looks like I have some work to do. The analysis is sketchy at best
BUT it calculated it at 125mph (I can do better).
BEST IF VIEWED IN 480p OR HIGHER AT FULL SCREEN:

It looked plenty fast. Nice work.

OK, here are the videos for doppler analysis from this morning's runs. I had at least 300 yards of flat, open soccer field with trees in the distance on both ends. First run: I was still way too high. I think I got a few towards the end that are decent. The launch is at 2:18. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8us26whUHe8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8us26whUHe8 Second run: This one was much better. Most of the runs are 6-7 seconds at WOT and I'm lower than the set of lights on the posts. Some runs I'm guessing I'm at 30'. That was all I had in me today. Launch is about the same at 2:15. I think 4:46 and 6:19 have the lowest passes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogJOlAFPRg4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogJOlAFPRg4 Mopar or Murdonoc from the Darkside should have a Doppler analysis soon. Also, Gryphon mentioned that the 7x5e prop isn't the best for top speed. We'll be testing 7x6 sport, 7x7 sport, and a 7x8 sport this week. I know that I was only going one direction, but there was no wind and that was my comfort zone. I'll try to fix that for next time.

What ya thinK? 130 plus? Anyway, I'm surprised at the performance on an "e" prop. Bet you pick up some speed with those sport props.

Doppler analysis came back with the fastest being 134 mph give or take 2 mph. Mopar said that he assumed 85 degrees F and it was more like 75 out there. I'm sure that will lean me towards the 136 mark.
With the Thunder Power batteries (when they finally arrive) and the right prop, breaking 140 should be a snap.
Seriously though, hats off the Gryphon and Mopar for all their help. These guys are the best in the world in my opinion. Gryphon designed the whole power system based on my Turnigy 2650 6S 30c batteries I had been using in my EXI500. Our goal was to break 130mph with those batteries - mission accomplished.

Sounds HEALTHY!!!! Awesome!
I have an addiction to speed now, too!
Congrats! Kent
