Anyone here try sanding EPP Foam?
Can it be done? What grit size? Wood file?
Any input is helpful! Thanks!

I haven't tried sanding it. It seems too soft. I've shaved it with a single edge, but that only works for some types of material reductions.
Maybe a super fine paper would work ;D
EPO on the other hand will take some sanding, but there again, it isn't easy. Just easier than EPP.
One thought would b to soak the area needing sanding with CA to make the foam stiffer/harder and then sand it. Maybe a dumb idea. ;D

Maybe I'll trim it and then sand it 220 grit. I ordered 15mm epp from Grayson to rebuild the mini Stryker. It needs an airfoil and sanding is how I did it last time.

I sand EPP with a 120 grit sanding screen used for drywall. This works far better than anything else I've tried. The screens come in a pack of sheets that fit a wooden holder. Kent

Nice! That's exactly what I needed to hear. I'll pick some up this week.
