You are getting too good at painting/stickers, Gabe.
I would like to ask you to do a 'Howto' at some point with those awesome stickers! I assume those lightning bolts are stickers?
Where did you get the micro checkerboard stickers on the rudders?
Looks really awesome! Kent

Hmmmm... I think I could make that happen. Just a little non-rushed creativity is all it really is. Lemmie work on that write up over the next fee days.
Micro checker was just hanging with the other sheets of decals at the LHS.

The maiden was a success!! I think I need a little down thrust on the motor though. I tried the 4S 2200 zippies with the Micro Dan 2900kv motor and a full fledged Ice50 (not the lite version). Kent was right, with a lighter battery, thing thing flies like it's on rails! I don't think it's quite as fast as the Stryker, but I haven't really opened it up yet. I'm gonna check the data, servos, all the clevises and make sure everything checks out. Be home at the desk in a flash! ********************* EDIT ********************* 613 watts on the launch, 579 on the straight and level passes. Not too bad for a little 4S battery. 43 amps and 158 degrees max temp. That's about what I was looking for. I didn't want this one to be the darksider, just another fun belly lander I can fly out back. Just a note, I was still a little sketched out about the cover flying off so I added two sets of magnets up by the intake. Rock solid for sure now!

This plane actually feels faster than the Stryker now. The flight characteristics are noticeably different, but they both have their advantages. I really like this plane!
Thanks to Kent for pointing me in the Fun jet direction.

What prop are you running? The power seems low for 2900KV and 4s.
You should still be running around 100mph!
I'm glad it's flying well for you! I sure love my little Funjets! Kent
