Welcome to the forum Hogster. Unfortunately I haven't used that TX. There are a few Walkera guys on the forum. With a little luck we may be able to help you out.

RTF's a shade busy. I'm driving him crazy with my endless barrage of emails concerning, yep, how to tweak the 2603 transmitter into doing _something_, as the instruction manuals are the worst yet; indecipherable statements and entire paragraphs that read like DOD MIL specs concerning sheep dip qualities...to say the least? He's got one vid up on U-Tube that details how to work the pitch curve, especially if you dump the brush-fed for a brushless, yes, the curve has to change. Anyways, mine has quite low tail rotor response, and he's promised me a vid on how to tweak the tail for a hotter and crisper response. So, anyways, this and other vids are soon to be playing, and so far, what I've seen makes more sense than the books sure do.

Thx, Boss.
Quite helpful, too, using the same method, I was able to tweak up some more rudder power, sadly, we're under a high-wind fire-watch threat, which means hovering ain't gonna happen.
Otherwise, use RUDD-GYRO instead of PIT. Knobs to 12. Crank V2 (right) and tweak up the rudder gain. I'm currently running 80 per, but that's a default of using LOW rates. On this radio, it's all-r-none on the rates.
More to come.
