I knew someday they'd be able to do this.
And it's turning into a problem as far as our friends over at the FAA are concerned...The heavy handed bastads are tyring to regulate and resrtrict model aircraft using security as the "reason". Well, there certainly is reason to believe terrorists can use small air vehicles to deliver weapons, but I don't think anything other that a total ban would come close to being effective. That, we can't have, so it will be an altogether unsatatisfactory arrangement. Both too restrictive and ineffective. In other words; a typical govt. botched job.
The AMA is the modelers chief, and maybe only advocate, in the process. Keep your fingers crossed that they'll have some positive influence in the decision making process.
