Nice plane. Gonna have to get me a plane some time, kinda miss fling them. Gonna have to get one that lands in grass, since don't have any where around here to take off and land.

Probably want to get a belly lander then unless the grass is real short. The Zero will need very short grass or a flat surface like packed dirt or asphalt.

I was thinking, in particular, of kent when I made the post. I think his P-51 needs a hangar mate.

Yes, that P-51 does need a hangar mate!! But I need to put retracts on anything that is going to have gear. I'm really happy to see them starting to have retracts for these!
One of these days I'll have to install retracts for the P-51. Kent

You may recall, I put the eflite 10-15 retracts on the P-51 along with flaps and a Power 10 motor. The 10-15's are a very tight fit. I haven't had an opportunity to maiden it yet, we've had the winter from hell and it's not letting up. Another foot predicted for early next week. You might want to look into HK for retracts. I think they have a slightly smaller clone of the eflites. Also, the PKZ P47D is a real beauty and it's set up out of the box to add the 10-15 retracts and flaps. The guys are really loving this model. As soon as I get a few square feet of clear work surface I'm going to pick one of those up. Of course it will be overpowered and propped to the max.
