Does anyone know how the eflite park 400 4200kv motor or the castle 4200kv 1/18th mamba will like getting wet goin to upgrade my sons mini alligator tour air boat with some type of brushless setup and he will flip it 4sure hes tired of that thing being too slow to get out of its own way im goin to use the traxxas vxl3m for the esc its waterproof but the motor from traxxas is just way too heavy... thxs

Those motors aren't designed for a regular soaking. You could probably get away with it awhile if you blow it out with compressed air immediately after a dunk.
Better yet check out Hobbypartz for a less expensive motor.
