Crashed the Frenzy yesterday. Out of the blue it just started going wonky, then death rolled. Blades, one grip, skids, boom (looks like my cat when it's pissed), mixing linkage, and one dead servo. I've been using these Hyperion servos for quite some time (they were the first servos I put in my 600ESP), and it finally gave out. Funny thing was, I wasn't all that upset. I was more happy that it wasn't set up related. When I can't figure out what's wrong, I start to second guess what I've done to the rest of my helis. That leads to some nervous flying (read: waiting for the other shoe to drop).
When it first crashed, I was a little worried it was a static thing. That's how the heli behaved before it planted. I had just tightened the belt some, and that's why I thought maybe it was static related. However, I was pumping a little more power through the servos than I used to. They were rated for 6V, and that's what I was running them at. I used to run them @ 4.8V. I haven't opened up the servo case yet. So I don't know if it smoked.
Here's some after crash video:

Tough heli.lol....
I think I have a pair of canopy stand offs. I found them after I shipped it.
I used Savox 1258's on it with titanium gears. Ran 6.6 volt LiFe pack unregulated.
email me if you need the canopy mounts.

Yeah, I think we all feel worse when we crash because we did something wrong in setup, preflight or dumb thumbs, than we do when it comes from an unforseen parts failure. Our CC doesn't seem to know the difference though. It's equally sad in every case.
