Hey guys and ladies. I just finished up building my mini titan se and test flying it over the weekend. I was wondering if a small amount of vibration is normal as I see the skids shaking abit but nothing crazy. This is my 1st 450 sized heli and didnt know if it is the nature of these smaller electrics. I am just using the stock wood blades right now and I did balance and track them correctly. Thxs for any response

Balanced and weighed main blades correctly ??
Are both blades tightened evenly ?
Did you balance and weigh the tail blades ?
What headspeed does the vibration occur, all RPM's or a specific RPM ?
Did it wobble on spool up and/or spooldown ?

As for basic mechanics everything is sound it only took me forever to carefully build it as I strive for perfection. Im also starting to think it is a headspeed issue. It seems to be noticed more as I back off the collective. On the ground it shows no signs of any vibrations at all when being spooled up or down. I think im goin to fly it in flight2 tomorrow at 100 across the board to eliminate headspeed issues. BTW thxs for reply

Also, it is very important to get the flybar and paddles are equal distances on both sides from the head. Smaller helis are more sensitive to this. I use a dial caliper to adjust these.
It is also important that the flybar paddles are as close to level with the flybar cage as possible.
If these or blade balance, flybar paddle balance, gear too tight, links too tight, can cause a skid vibration.
I'm just trying to help list a few things that can cause those issues. Kent

Thxs Akent the only concern of mine on your list is the sizing of the ball links as i wasnt able to do that since i didnt have a sizing tool for the smaller links thunder tiger used on this heli. I guess I should look into seeing if i can get one, thxs for the heads up

Wood blades was the cause I put my friends carbons on and the heli flew smooth as silk. I guess my blade balancer is not as accurate as it should be.

Might not be that balancer. I have had issues with wood blades before, thats the main reason why I went to CF blades before I could really fly these things.
Woodies are very inconsistant, and have been known to have fractures along the grain, inducing vibrations, and sometimes blade failure, even at lower headspeeds
