Of all the 1S LiPo's I've purchased (I've tried them all), only the Nano's from HC and the Hyperions have lasted the longest. Following normal LiPo storage methods (3.85v) also helps with battery life. I think a lot of users tend to misuse these little LiPo's where they charge them up and leave them laying around fully charged.

Even though I tried to do everything I could to extend their life. But honestly, I've got hyperions I've had since I first started using them. I've had a few fall by the wayside, but I had a hand in that. The original packs from my ESC fire on my 600, still got 'em. Plastic cover scorched and melted , they are still kickin'. They are close to two years old... many cycles, all rapid charges.

Condolences in your hours of grief Dave.
I don't know. I think we're seeing a new side of ray. ;D
Anyhow, I've abandoned the lipo storage stuff. It's a pain in the arse. What changed my mind was that I had, literally, forgotten some lipos for over a year stored at full charge. They were in a drawer at room temp. After I discovered them, I put them back on the balance charger and found them to be like new. Cycled them a few times, flew them numerous times. All A OK. The results were the same regardless of the brand. I might just be lucky in this area but that's how it happened here.
