Does anyone know why some ESC's are not for use in heli's and others are marked as "heli ESC's"? Most of them on the market don't make any comments either way. ;D

This is just a guess but maybe some are marked heli esc's because their programmed different that wouldnt make them suitable for airplanes. All the esc's that I have ever bought could be used for both.

The reason they are marked that way is because airplane, car, and boat ESC's sometimes vary the RPM in steps rather than a steady smooth climb. Ray
