I had to laugh at this one. More proof the PZ ultra micros are tough little devils.

That was great. The speed and quickness to the T-28 was a good match for the birds. Looked like Crows maybe.

Watching this makes me want a ultra micro that much more. Still can't decide which one I want though. I thought about the UMX beast, but the t28 looks interesting too.

Some things you might want to weigh in your decison, if you haven't already, r/c. These are two completely different planes designed for two different levels of flying: Of all the micros out there; the T-28 is the easiest aileron plane to fly. It's fast enough and aerobatically capable, making it fun to fly, but it's still very stable. A great combination. You can push it to its limits or just cruise around in a relaxed manner. The Beast is faster, much more maneuverable, less stable and requires more attention on the sticks. It's designed to be highly aerobatic. It's very easy to over control it though, and it can get too far away for orientation quickly. An excellent combination for more challenging flights. While you can fly both indoors on a regular sized baskerball court; it's quite a bit easier to fly the T-28 indoors. Value, features and other things to keep in mind: The T-28 is obviously less expensive, but with the new pricing on the Beast, IMO, they are now on the same level value wise. The Beast's finish and detail is outstanding for a micro, IMO, while the T-28 isn't as flashy and lacks the detail and finishing touches. Having a brushless motor is a plus for the Beast in both value and performance. The T-28 is going to cost less to repair from a major crash than the Beast. I guess it all boils down to what you're looking for in your first micro. Decisions, decisions.

The main concern that I have with the t28 is the brushed motor, I've heard that they fail after a short amount of time. That and also if it would have enough power for what I would want to do.
I want a micro that can do all the acrobatics but yet if I want be able to cruise around the air. Basically a micro version of my bigger t28 lol, but the main problem is the brushed motor on the um t28.
Then the Beast comes to mind, which is definitely acrobatic. And solves the brushed motor issue. But can you use a different lipo battery than E-flites 3 wire battery, and just plug the balancing plug in?

I don't know what you're expecting from the UM T-28 in terms of performance, but I think the capabilities are similar to your full sized one.
I've flown the T-28 a lot. I never had the motor die. Maybe I'm just lucky, but the good news is that, if it does burn out, the motor in the T-28 is pretty cheap and easy to replace.
I haven't heard of any options to the Eflite battery for the Beast. I'm fairly certain there may be some I don't know about.

Thanks Scar and 19k. I have some thinking to do about which one to get. I want something thats acrobatic but yet not something thats to hard to fly. I think the Beast would suit me the best of the two. Now I need to stop hijacking peoples threads and start my own if I have questions.

That was a FUN video!!! Thanks! === 19k is right on all counts..
I am flying my Beast with the stock battery along with a bigger one. Both fly fine. The stock battery lets you push it back for a more tail heavy plane. I like that, as it spins faster and lands with a nose up attitude. From what I've seen, the Beast is the only ultra micro with a power system (battery included) that is perfect. It has unlimited vertical, too. If you get one of these, you should order some GWS 5x3 props. They are WAY cheaper than the Eflite ones. Kent

I'm going to wait a while if I do get it. I have some other rc stuff I want to buy first. I also want to get my extra 300 fixed too.
