You don't need your grill anymore Dave, just put the ribs on the concrete and they'll cook themselves.

The runway here has been 130+ for a couple of months now!
Over 40 days of 100+ and it's still July. It's been 100+ every day for weeks. It was 104 yesterday, and it's 101 right now today. It was 106 the last time I flew on Sunday.
BUT, we are supposed to get a cold front tomorrow. It's only supposed to hit 99! HURRAY!
We set all time heat records in 2008, then again in 2009 and they are saying that it will set yet another record this year.
Also, we are in the worst drought in history right now. The second worst drought in history was in 2009. Think of that.
You think you have it bad! Kent

Yep, it's been hot and nasty this summer everywhere. We broke an all time high here in MN as well. Plus we've had a lot of storms. Hail, 75mph winds and high humidity.
When I go flying I leave the AC running in the truck, duck out for 5-6 min.'s of flying and then back in to cool in the AC. It's the same process that I use for winter flying except with the temps inverted. LOL

101 at 9:15 at night. 110 earlier today. 112 forecast for tomorrow. Dry heat my ars. You can hardly breathe the stuff. They have slowed down the local commuter trains from 80 mph to 60 and then to 40 mph because it was warping the tracks. Now that's HOT!

Colorado Springs had a high of 79 degrees and an inch of rain yesterday. We are supposed to get into the lower 80's tomorrow!! I may have to strip down to shorts and a T shirt.

Hey scare can you box up a couple of gallons and send them this way. The unofficial high temp today, 8/3/2011 at Memphis International Airport was 105 which breaks the old record of 103 set in 2010. The heat index was 116.

After this storm passed through last night it feels great. Probably around 75 outside and no humidity. Sorry just had to rub it in.

UGH! 10 pm and 97 degrees, after a high today of 106. Tomorrow: 103, Friday: 103, Saturday: 104
This is NOT Las Vegas here in central Texas!
I can't handle this. My AC units never shut off now until maybe early morning, and I have two units in the house! I can't imagine what the bill will look like this month. Kent
