I can't imagine that they would discontinue that. It's the only ultra micro that I've heard of that flies incredibly well. The rest of them are brushed and are low on power. This has unlimited vertical and does all of the same maneuvers of a much larger aerobatic machine.
I guess a couple of the newer planes might be as good, I don't know, but the older ones sure aren't.
Man, I'd jump on one for a hundred bucks!

Yeah I don't think they would discontinue the beast either its just too popular of a plane for them to do that. But this shows one thing and thats how much horizon makes off these planes, you know horizon wouldn't be selling them at a lost. Hobbyzone, here in town, hasn't had a Beast for quite a while. I've been looking to pick one up as soon as they come in.
I don't think they're going to cancel the Beast. I think horizon marketing has figured out that there is one price for the introduction of their product that works and one that creates volume.
That's good marketing. High profit in the beginning of the life cycle and then a good profit for the rest of cycle. And for the patient buyer there's a better deal to be had.

Hi , over here in England, Model Shops are selling older models off cheap, and it is almost impossible to by spares for Sukhoi plane Ultra Micro T-38 trojan !! I think you get far superior service over in the USA

Hey Paul welcome to the fun.
Horizon is putting out so many new planes they've got to move the old stuff, but it sucks when they have a good plane and not enough parts are available.
