New project is just awesome. Might go FBL later but for now it's flying great. It's my first really good exhaust and I will never go cheap again. This thing is a beast Trex 700LE OS91HZ engine Hatori tuned pipe JR 8717's on cyclic Futaba 9252 on throttle Futaba GY611 gyro Futaba 9256 tail servo AR7100R RX with back plate sensor and one JR satellite Outrage 3700mAh 2S lipo The cyclic servos are unregulated and the throttle and tail are regulated by the RX to 5.2 volts. The RX also has a built in rev limiter so I run a flat 100% idle up curve to get 2000 rpm.

Holy crap batman that is one huge heli. I always put my hand on the head to stop the blades after I land. I can just barely reach it without getting my shins banged up.lol... Gotta hit throttle hold in a hover and bleed as much speed off as possible before landing. The blades will spin over a minute after you kill the engine.

Since deciding to go big,it's been easy to get some top shelf gear going. I have never crashed a big one so instead of re-kitting a 450 or 500 every month or so.I've been able to spend money on better equipment and this machine is the result of some very lucky trading.
I traded my 700 FBL with Savox servos for a 550E FBL all stock and two big flight packs. I also got $200 to boot.
Then I traded that 550E for this 700 even up. Equipped just like it is. It was BNF.
The 700 I traded off had a busted carb and a broken muffler. While I was boxing it up,I received a brand new muffler from Outrage in response to an email I sent about two pipes from Outrage falling apart. One on the 700 and one on the 600. Very cool of them.
Since the trade was complete, the guy getting my 700 paid me $50 for the new 90 size pipe. That brings me to $250 ahead in the trade.
Another guy bought the 50 size pipe for $40 since I had already sold my 600.
Now there's $290 cash.
The 700 was $60 to ship and the 550 was $40 to ship.
All said and done,I traded one 700 for a better equipped one and was left with $190 in cash.

I decided not to do flybareless on my 600. The le flybareless kit cost more and I'd have to invest more in electronics.
So for cost alone I'm just putting the gyro I already have on it. Maybe someday ill try flybareless.
