esky cp3 fuse problems

need some help guys,my cp3 everytime i get to 3/4 throttle the mixer lite turns red and then just after that my 10 amp fuse blows.this has a new mixer,receiver,and fuss and happens every time.is the fuse to small? im just about over it and ready to toss it in the trash.

On the E-SKY CP3, the RX LED will turn Steady RED when at high throttle. The RX is optimized for a 370 size carbon brushed stock motor. It will cut off the power because it is too much for the MOSFET circuit to handle hence the power cutoff.

You should not have to throttle that high unless you have a heavy payload on the helicopter. The 10 amp fuse is blowing because of the power overload. If you remove the fuse and throttle at high, the electronics will eventually fry. Sort off like crashing into a wall with the throttle stick at high.

Ways to avoid this problem:

Make sure that the meshing between the stock motor is NOT too TIGHT. You should be able to freely spin the rotor head with your hand.

Your motor maybe failing, if you need to throttle that high. Replace motor.

Your payload is too heavy causing you to throttle high to get lift. This will strain the RX and blow the fuse and then the RX.

Get a MAIN BRushless kit we sell. No more fuses to worry about as the ESC will handle the overload protection. Brushless motors last virtually forever without having to worry about brushes wearing out. The high throttle cutoff still will remain as this is built into the RX electronics, so you still should not throttle more than 75% or until the LED on the RX becomes steady RED/ORANGE.

thanks for the info dane ,but now the 3 in 1 is green with flashing red and nither main motor or tail motor will work. is the 3 in 1 bad.i checked the main motor and it runs fine..
