Been flying the sim.
I'm finding it hard to maintain an inverted hover. Tail in I flip it back into a nose in inverted hover. At this point I stay off the tail because input seem backwords. Al stick seems to be clicking. If I move the right stick the wrong way I flip it back over and start over. Also having a hard time with collective. Kinda just thinking out loud

When learning a new orientation I never flip or roll toward myself. I learned by rolling right to tail in inverted.

Why does tail in seem way harder Depends 100% on the individual. Which ever move you use to get inverted will stay constant. I mean if you use elevator to go inverted, elevator controls stay the same and aileron is reversed. If you use aileron to get inverted, aileron stays the same and elevator is reversed. When tail in,elevator is reversed which means the controls that move the heli toward you are backwards and maybe that is a little intimidating.

I think your right. I hadn't thought of that. When in a upright tail in hover pulling back brings the heli closer when inverted nose in pulling back also brings it closer. I use elevator to go inverted doesn't matter whether over the nose or the tail
