It sucked. I remember now why I fear them. A lot has changed since the last time I went. They now have an instant imaging machine that circles your head as you stand there, and no more digging around in your mouth with that chisel thingy... they just take pictures. However, the needle directly into the nerve of my broken tooth... could've done without that. The drilling on my tooth before my nerve was numb... really could have done without that. Good news though... I didn't need the root canal. Bad news... I've got two more teeth to go Seems I fractured two others. I also found out my dental insurance is garbage. To add serious insult to injury, they bring in this gorgeous young office manager in a tight sweater to explain the bill.... That was a dirty trick.

LOL. I also hate going. All my eye teeth need root canals
I had a fractured tooth a few years ago. Dentist said it was unrepairable. As he pryird on it with some kinda clamping plyers, the tooth shatterd and blood and chunks of tooth went flying everywhere. So out came the drill. Then it turned into a dry root and man I think that dry roots the most pain I've been in my life. I broke my left tin and fib clean in two and it was only a fraction of the pain.

Those a wicked stories.
I'm pretty lucky in that area but my wife had and extraction to avoid having a root canal. The tooth was towards the back so it isn't visable. She got Dry Socket and has had pain ever since. That was a year ago last Sept...
What I dislike about dentists is that they are like used car salesmen. Always trying to sell you a procedure that you don't want and in a lot of cases surely don't need. I added them to my list of least liked professions; somewhere inbetween lawyers and bankers.

When I was a kid I think my dentist was trying to pay for a boat I always brushed and flossed and he would always find something wrong. Then I went to a different dentist when I was in my 20's the assistant was a cute little strawberry blond I ended up marring her. Ray

Cool Ray.lol...
Any good drugs Doozer?
It really isn't fair when those hot chicks come around at your ugliest moments.lol..
There was a gorgeous blond working at OSU transplant center when I had my kidney re-homed. I had a huge crush on her and chatted her up every chance I got. The day she remove my catheter was the most embarrassed I have ever been.
She also injected the dye when they were inspecting my renal workings. She warned me that it would be a warm sensation and everybody always thinks they wet themselves when it goes in....She pushed the plunger and I thought OMG..I am the first one to ACTUALLY wet myself....I didn't but she saw the fear in my eyes and chuckled a little.lol...

the tooth i had pulled is also int the back and for some reason cold weather i can realy feel it or heck if i breath just right.
scary knowing i have more root canals on the books kinda s funds permit.
my dentist is very good. he only does whats necesary and even gives me brakes on cost my teeth are kinda week and how they grow is why im getting root canals. most people never need a root canal on a eye tooth. hes even fixed a few little cavities at no additional charge.

Never been to LAX or Denver. Ohare wasn't too terrible. It was a short stay though for a plane swap.
Atlanta has always been the worst for me. I had to go through the whole experience there...The robot trains are cool.

I got snowed in at Ohare in 2000 on the way to Boise, that sucked. Missed my flight in San Francisco in 1995, the airline changed the flight time, had to fly standby, hated that.

I got snowed in at O'hare and the trip to Maui ended up taking 36 hr's. Spent quite a bit of time in Denver, LAX and Honolulu on the way.
But, I agree, Atlanta has got to be the worst. It's a giant hub. It's almost impossible to get through there without a delay.
