Pull the main gear and check it. If that isn't it, check your one way.

Doozer
I've got it tore apart. Yanked the head. Checked all gears one way is good greased one way.
Now I've got the boom block split. So far nothings stood out to me. Mainshaft bearings could be smoother, dropped scorpion lube in them. Clutchbell spins super smooth
Ill double check each maingrear tooth

Here's a stupid question, I can spin my head backwords by hand. This seems odd to me because I thought the one way bearing kept it from doing that. Then I got to thinking the clutch isn't engauged so nothing is holding it. That's right. When it's not running, the engine is literally disconnected from the blades by a 1/16 inch air gap. The OWB has nothing to do with it.It's working. The OWB separates the main gear from the tail drive gear. You're used to turning electric heli blades and feeling the motor turn backwards. The clutch prevents that with an engine.

Well I've fine tuned blade tracking now and still its there.
I've also had very noticeable tail blade slop.I had some very thin shims and through trial and air have all the play shimmed out and can still crank the bolt tight and not cause any drag. doubtfull that the vibe is coming from there but it can't hurt to get rid of the slop.
I'm also wnderng about my gyro mount its the gy520 on a single verythin pad. I'm wondering if it might help to go to a more cushy gyro mount.
Ohhh and man the quick UK carb arm looks good

It is recommended that 2 thick pads then metal plate and one small pad be placed under the gyro on nitro machines

Have you checked the runout on the clutch? If its not true, it will vibrate

Was thinking about the runout. I was going to order the lynx fan and use a dial indicator and check they say no more then. 002 runout. I've been reading articles on how to do it and how to fine tune the run out.
I just don't see plastic as a good fan unit specialy when it comes time to finetuning. Plastic to me isn't true and is subject to variations as the temp and load on it changes.
