Whoa! That is too much!! Really too much. $1100 bucks, but worth every penny of it, I'm sure.
If my wife had that thing she'd hang around the school parking lot and wait for the guy in the Maserati to show up again. Boy, would he be surprised. Maybe she could race for pink slips. She'd blow his doors off. LOL

Thats what I thought, when the nitro 4-tec came out and could do 70 I was amazed but now 100!
The Maserati would just get its tires warmed up by the time the Traxxas XO-1 be across the parking lot!

100 is cool and traxxass does make a few rigs that stand out from the ground maybe this is one of them.

My wife has 2 Traxxas 1/10 Stampede Monster Trucks and she has used them really hard. How many times can you run into a curb, rock, tree or boulder at WOT? She's intent on testing the limit. A few pieces have broken, but overall the repairs haven't kept me working overtime.
I'd spring for the XO1 if it weren't so expensive. Of course, there would be a whole new realm of repairs and potential liability. Some bystander gets hit in the ankle with an XO1 and there might be alot more to it than just limping home. LOL

That would shatter a leg. Not fun.
I like the direct drive. Almost buggy truggy style. Its only running 6 cells so I'd imagine well see this thing go much faster on more volts.
We also may see buggy and truggies hot on its heels playing the speed game. I'd rather spend 500 on a losing truggy kit then a 1100 traxxas even if I end up with more into the truggy.
Either way both rides are cool.
One reason I'm but hurt is because I hung out on the traxxas forumn and they censor speech like exheli does. So because of that ill most likly never buy traxxas again

I know where your coming from Evan, I went to there forum before and you cant even talk about other companies, you cant talk bad about traxxas and everything that you sell on the forum has to be traxxas. They do make some good cars though.
On the XO-1 super car, inorder to go 100 you have to have an ipod touch and buy there app so you can "unlock" the esc. Otherwise it will go about 60. What ever the he!! unlock means. You cant even use a castle link to unlock it even though the esc is made by castle.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I realy think you pay about 60% just for the traxxas name and 40% for crap China chit bearings when you by traxxas. But they do have cool rigs.
So far on my list of never by from again is exheli and all it affiliates and traxxas.
