well things got pretty tight funds wise this holidays just seems to be kinda a depressing tiume of year. im flying with dx6i so im limited to say the least. anyways things are coming around and it looks like ill be able to swing a dx7 shortly after christmass so im looking over the 7100r specs and pics and stumble across this remote glow location. i think this is super sweet. i havent yet seen them sold anywhere but they must be like 5 bucks

the switch glow looks awesome specialy with hot start safety. but it is 34 bucks and im kinda tight ass. i think ill just get the remote glow you linked to for now. it would be cool to flip a switch on the transmitter and just fire it up

I had it on one of the back plate screws. It has to be grounded to the engine.

Mck Your awesome.
I think I've decided to go with a new dx7 that comes with the ar8000 rx. Its 299. I'm also debating the dc8 TX only for 329. Though I'm sure the 7 will make me happy for along time. Doozer sent me the 660 gov so ill have enough channels to get it going, thanks a ton doozer.
Guys thanks your great. Troy, Ernie and doozer have helped me make it this far

The plug that goes on the glow plug is a little different. It's not an alligator clip.
You have to pull out on the wire to open the clip to go on the plug.

Thank you. Hopfylly I figure it out.
I think my 6200 is on thefritz. If I wag both sticks real fast the led blinks erratic and it completely shut down a few times. It is time. I think if I keep flying this combo ill be on borrowed time.
I've got the cash so I'm going to make a rd trip for a dx7 with the ar8000 this week. I'm excited

could be, heres the ice 50 set at 6 volts.
ive got the rx and everything gutted and will rebuild end of week or early next week. next time she flies will be on the dx7 and ar8000. the dx8 is nagging in the back of my head so i may come home rxless and be shopping for a used 7100r. instead of going the dx7 ar8000 route.
what do you think.
sorry this vid wentr long because i thought i was getting somewhere. turns out i didnt figure anything outby setting the ice 50 at 6 volts
