Ive recently upgraded my Exi 450 to Fbl with a Tarot FBL System. It has been flying great with no problems until now. Today during flight I was flying along and then all of a sudden my Exi 450 started shaking bad, so bad that I wouldnt even call it a vibration. Anyway I immediately landed, and checked it out and my Ar6200 light was blinking indicating a brownout.
My thinking is that when the Ar6200 regained connection with my Dx6i it reset the Tarot Fbl system causing it to shake badly. Now I dont know why it would brownout, before when it was FB I had a brownout and I upgraded to a Castle BEC but never got to fly much with the BEC.
Here is my setup-
-Tarot FBL head & gyro
-4 Exi 9g D213F Digital Servos
-Exceed rc 30 amp esc
-Exceed rc Alpha 450 3500kv motor
-Ar6200 & Dx6i
-11.1v 2200 mah 30c Blue lipo
-then I also am using a Castle BEC which I thought would of solved my brownout issues.
Anyone have any ideas? I would of thought upgrading to a Castle BEC would of prevent any brownouts, but I guess not. Im also using a metal frame, which doesnt interfere with 2.4ghz signal like carbon fiber does. Thanks.

I have seen the fbl units when they have to much gain shake like that maybe when it had its brown out it changed something in the fbl unit.. Ray

With the gain set too high would it shake all the time? Or would it only do it every now and then? It only does it once in a while and as soon as I land I notice that the light on the rx is blinking.
Would my Castle BEC be sufficient enough for running 4 digital servos?

if it has at least a 6 amp supplyit should supply enough voltage if I am not mistaken the exceed esc is only 3 amp
which is not enough amps with digital servos
But raygun should be able to say for sure

Yeah I was having brownout problems a while ago so I upgraded to a 10 amp Castle Creations BEC, now after 20 or so flights after going FBL I had another brownout. Its happened two times since going FBL and having the CC BEC installed.

can you check how many amps the cc is set for with the castle link by chance

Your BEC should be fine the RX??? the FBL units I have seen would only do it once in a while they would hover fine and slow flight would be OK but any fast maneuver would start a shake and it always ends up being a gain problem of some sort..
