Got a message from Ray a few days ago. The surgery went fine but he's in a lot of pain, so I'm not going to bother him until he feels better.
Bugstersdad: I was in Air Sea Rescue about a hundred years ago. Besides looking for lost aircraft (we never found a damn thing) we were the Pacific recovery team for the Mercury mission. My "additional duties" included; towing aircraft and painting equipment. The bright side was being stationed at HAFB on Oahu. Many good memories.

You were at Hickham, huh? There are worse places to be... They don't call it paradise for nothing. I called Ray to see how he's doing. He still has a lot of pain and the pain killers aren't doing him any good. Oxycotin. Just put him to sleep, but the pain never stops. He'll be laid up at least a couple of weeks.

Tell him I said hey and hope he feels better. I'm sending out a package to him on Sat.
Does he like Boone's Farm? Only the good stuff for Ray!

Will do. LOL. Boone's Farm. Do they still make that? That's right up there with Boogey Down Wine and Colt Malt Liquor. A man of discerning tastes.

Heck, they still make Italian Swiss Colony wine! I doubt that Ray is going to be ready for any of that rotgut for a looong time though.
