Buy what you think you need, but an Align Starter will start a 26cc gasser like its butter. I've been starting my 240 (23cc) and have never had an issue. I started my DLE 30 (30cc) using the spinner cup last night... multiple times... no problem.

I can't go wrong. The align is 3 cell. Parts available to repair the Sullivan its runs a more powerfully 4-6 battery. 110 to my door that includes a heli starter wand to replace the airplane stater cup thing. It'll fit anysize battery.
I actually orderd a 2200 3 cell battery for the align starter it showed up today. Its a 20c 2200 turnigy it might not fit in the align starter.
I agree the align starter is super slick and works very well but with my luck I'd get my first 26cc Gasser and it wouldn't work and I'd have to spend the money all over again.
Ohhh there's also a 2 year warrant on the sulivan

I completely understand wanting more power! ;D Had I known I was going down the path I was going, I would have probably done the same thing. I was just saying, the Align starter will certainly kick over a stock 260 with ease. I barely have to tap it to start my 240, and like I said. I've been starting a DLE 30 with it. I use a 3S 2200 25c lipo. The only real knock on the starter is not the starter itself, but the wand (shaft). If you aren't careful with your angles they strip. I've been through two and I finally bought a hardened replacement that I've been using ever since. Also Align's starter wands are proprietary. You can't just put any generic shaft in and have it spin true. It takes some finaglin' to make another shaft work in the Align "system." Anyway, that's a good looking starter that you should have for a long time. Kinda makes me want one

Only downfall with what I'm getting is there isn't a battery holder. I should be able to remedy that. I was complety onboard with the aling starter but man its exspensive. At that price point it better be the best on the market. But the are very good.
These Sullivan starters bust be powerfully. Did you see the dual handle kits for for them?
