My scale 450 EXI has a tail fin vibration.I see you also built one of these Raygun. Its a pro 450 EXI put inside a MD530 fiberglass fuselage from xheli. My horizontal tail fin came in four pieces and they get glued together. My problem is that it starts to vibrate so bad it looks like a blur and it breaks off the top fin where it was glued.I reglued it twice now but broke again.Do you have a problem with yours vibrating? Its a cheap design and really flimsy, is this normal or do I have a deeper problem? The vertical fin seems pretty stable after the horizontal top fin breaks off with not much vibrating.

I built the EXI 450 and installed it into a Huey Gunship. You will really have to find the source of the vibration I spent a lot of time balancing the blades and I removed the belt drive which is a good source of vibration. I don't have any vibration but on the fuselage you have it does not have any support for the tail boom and with the belt drive there probably is some vibration just from that. You may want to support the boom by connecting it to the fuselage towards the end for extra support. And then balance out the tail blades and main rotor blades. If this does not help you may want to try a shaft drive or do a DDVP like mine. Ray

I thought about the tail boom support to.I will double check my blades for balance and check my shafts for true.Other than that it fly's pretty nice and looks good doing it.Thanks Raygun
