Looking good. Amps around 30+ and Watts just under 500. Ought to give you some nice performance. What prop are you running?

I think you are going to love that plane, Evan! These fly great.
I'm running a Turnigy Gold/Silver 3542-1000kv, 75amp Ice Light, on a 2200ma 4s with a 12x6E prop. I could go bigger on the prop and drop to 3s. I haven't played with that, yet. I think the power system you have is probably better.
The CG and throws in the manual are good to start with. I have moved my CG back a bit and am running a little more throw for 3d. Kent

well guys everything has gone south and fast. my hacker motor burned up on the ground as i sttempted maiden. i orderd a turnigy 3548 to replace it and it is also haveing troubles wont spool up unless you bump the prop and then is only makeing 173 watts in flight on 3 cell. tried 4cell battery and got of the ground quick then freaking shut down right away. pulled off dead stick landing from 10ft up with no speed i just aimed it towars the ground hard then flared before she nosed in and it leveld out. on this flight the esc shows a prop strike. wtf? this log shows 658 watts on 4 cell but i cant for the life of me find it zooming in on the log. im thinking my ice 50 is toast. when you plug the battery in you can barrely hear it beep of the cell count . the motor also wont spool up on its own i have to bump the prop to get it going then it sppols up and seems fine but im feeling its under powerd big time. im broke right now so i guess this bird is going to sit untill i can afford some kinda cheap esc then go from there. heres a few pics burned hacker the plane all together motor need or is speced to need a 60 amp esc so im off to research whats available for 20-30 bucks

got ahold of turnigy trust 55 amp and all is good. so my ice 50 was a casulity during the hacker motor blow up.
plane flies well, kind of a handfull for me but she does fly well. in the vid im running 30% expo and found guys are running as much as 65% on this plane. planning to fly today with more expo.
the turnigy 3548 makes plenty of power to climb vertical to the moon and hover with lots of punch out.
video was recorded with my gopro.
