I'm looking for an rc project, something to keep me busy for a while. All I seem to do anymore is work and sleep, and fly occasionally. I was going to build a Trex 250 to help me progress with flying, but after almost totalling my Exi 450 trying a flip I think I'll wait for a while. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas, whether it be a plane, heli, car, kit, scratchbuilt, arf, anything.

Have you set yourself a budget? It usually gets down to how much something is going to cost.
Multi rotor copter. $100+
Pusher jet. 80-$100
EDF. $80+
All of these can be Kitted, Arf'd or PNP.

A budget, whats that? I dont have one. ;D As long as it stays under $200 Im happy. Ive got a sudden urge to build something huge out of dollar tree foam, man I love that stuff. I think I'm bi-polar when it comes to rc stuff though, the things I want and the ideas I have change with the weather..  A month ago I wanted an UM pole cat, after fixing my scratchbuilt foamies I lost interest. A few weeks ago I wanted a Trex 250 but after crashing my Exi 450 I dont think that would be a good idea. Then yesterday I wanted a Blade 130x but considering its the same price as a Trex 250 I skipped the idea. Then today I was looking at upgrading my Exi 450. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. |
