Looked at those a couple times but then I thought that they wouldn't let me twist my tx in one direction or the other and would impair my flying style of fly crash repair fly again that i have been doing for a while now

That style is named after me! Seriously though, I'm hoping it improves my ability to fly and push my glasses up.

Or you could just get one of those nerdy rubber straps that go around the back of one's head to hold the glasses in place. ;D
Seriously though, that tray set up is is getting very Bentley like: carbon fiber, polished chrome, etc. What next? Butter soft leather and Rosewood?

Butter soft leather and Rosewood? lol, padded leather on the hand rests.... nice touch. I'll need to fly in a captains hat and a smoking jacket. Really, when I fly in the sim, I sit and fly with the radio in my lap. When I go to the field I fly with a neck strap and the radio antennae down (well facing down but at an "L" shape). Now that I'm using more switches (dual rates for Elevator, Rudder and Ailerons), and because I pinch the sticks, I think having less grip on the radio will help me control the plane better. It seems to help in the sim, but it could turn out to be a $110 dollars worth of crap that sits with all the other useless gadgets I've bought during my R/C tenure. Only time will tell. Well it shipped this morning along with some 14 X 10 props. Went priority so should be here Tuesday.

Don't forget the Rayban Aviator glasses to complete your flying field ensemble. Think: General Douglas McArthur striding up on the beach retaking the Phillipines. I'm with Phil. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't "fly" the transmitter. I find tight banks are near impossible without flying the transmitter. I imagine that'd be difficult to do with that contraption of yours. I don't even use a neck strap lest I inadvertently cut off my air supply and pass out mid flight. I use the pinch method on the sticks also. In my case: make that a "Death Pinch". OOOPS! I just noticed something else. No cocktail holder or cigar ashtray. Are those accessories or do you have to build those on like wings on a mansion?

I like it, but the neck strap is gonna take some getting used to. Haven't flown with it yet. I've just walked around looking up, fiddling with the sticks. There is a lot of flex in the hand rests, which worries me a bit. However, the hand rests adjust to a perfect fit, and I find all my buttons and switches quite naturally now. No need to hold the radio up to set trims. The lightness and control on the sticks is amazing, but the weight on the neck is a huge drawback and quite possibly a deal breaker. I might try the harness if the control is worth giving that a shot. It has a nice curve in the belly region though it could do with some extra padding. If it works out, I'm probably going to build a new gasser heli after my next plank. I'll give it a test run today or tomorrow and report back.

Flew with it today.... LOVED IT. Didn't even notice the weight. The only thing I'm going to do is lower the hand rests about an inch (yes you can to that). The neck strap was very comfortable. I had about 20 minutes of air time before it got too dark.... no pain or strain at all. I'm a happy dude!
