I'm looking at getting my first EDF, but with ol' man winter fast approaching I won't be able to fly very long without the snow on the ground. I was wondering if you guys ever belly land your EDF's in the snow? Or will snow get in the intakes and ruin it. I'm looking at getting this EDF for my first one- www.hobby-lobby.com/stinger_64_edf_jet_1036467_prd1.htm

Yep, I'll belly land an EDF in snow. You just need to make sure the snow is not too icy on top and dead stick it in. Try to get it as slow as possible and then belly flop it.
Icy snow will scrape up the bottom side and a chunk can chip, or break, the fan. I suggest you cover the bottom side of the fuse in packing tape and do the wing tips in minwax polycrylic.
Getting a little snow in the intake will not hurt anything. Just knock it out.
That stinger is a nice plane. Flies really well. Fast and stable stock. Hop up to 4S later on.

Thanks 19k, some people have modded the stinger to go 160 mph. Which is nice to know if I ever feel the need for speed, I heard it flies nicely stock too.

All I can think of is the movie Firefox, when he lands on the snow near the submarine.

That's why they have reruns and dvd's; to narrow the culture gap.
