I used to see Roadrunners often in Tucson and then the last few years, not so much. I think the humans have taken over the habitat.

I think this one was acutely aware of our presence  But before my son starting shooting video, it was tearing up the grasshoppers that where all over the place out there. When we first pulled up, there was the distinct smell of coyote urine as well, and as you may know, where there's Roadrunners, there's coyotes. ;D |
