Okay, scale fans, I finally got a lot of it about finished: Yes. Converted my modded 1#A into a sport scale Sikorsky S-300. Darth canopy, of course, superstruts from RTF, the LG comes from Banana Hobby. Sorry it took so long, as I told RTF, but the holidays kept me a shade busier than I had time to work on this. Happy new year, y'all! -BH

Well, with problems. Seems one of the rotors became warped! Never seen that much washout!
Tried a hover, anyways. Very solid, but takes a shade more collective due to the added weight. All that downwash over the canopy doesn't seem to hurt things.
I'll know more once this stalled frontal system decides to go elsewhere, and I replace the mains!
A hobbyist's work is never.....ever....done.....!

Okay! The new blades arrived....! (Absolutely, totally shameless plug for RTF HELI goes here...for his warp-speed shipping...... ) Some adjustment to the links, and......! Not bad at all. Smooth as before, responsive, not a problem. The old blades were the problem! Added more bite, and it's back to a shade over mid-stick and it parks where I wants it. Floats easy, nose over, goes where I aim it. Not bad for a lot of cursing, sticking a screwstick THROUGH my finger, more cursing.... Now, for better weather! -BH
