Was sitting here checking out the new DX7 and watching some programming videos for it. That's when I noticed the new AR6100E on the shelf. I kept it from the dropped G2 project. I need something to put it on.Hmmm. Well I just got great news lately. One of our building projects at work needed a foreman.I am normally a superintendant but this job is twenty minutes from home and prevailing wage. This means no more traveling for about a year and a twelve dollar an hour raise.Hmmm indeed. I checked on ebay and found a used G2 with zero bids and a reserve of $140.It also has an Esky sim with USB interface. I bought it.I want the sim for my brother and I really want to do the all CNC G2. I only dropped the first one because of time and money.Neither of which is an issue now.
So,,,here we go again ;D

I guess you're just destined to have a G2 in your stable. Can't get away from 'em.

OT: I have a friend that is an engineer with a co. that specializes in schools. He says because of the contracts, long term bond issues, etc. the school construction business has dodged a bullet and is doing well. I looked around on one of the links you posted on the other forum a while back. Nice work!

Yup.Thanks.
I'm working on a non-school project now.First time in a long time.Fifteen years or so. It's the new Pike County Senior Citizens Center in Waverly,Ohio. Tiny job.A little less than a year with a eight million dollar budget. It's close to home and pays well.I'll take it for a while. The demotion will actually be a welcome change of pace. No meetings. No red tape.Just a schedule, material and manpower.
Ahhhh, the good life ;D For a few months anyway.

Any chance you can swizzle in a flying field? Lessee, retired folks like to roam around an indoor track about the size of your typical 300' tall indoor stadium. Couldn't you offer free haircuts via your helicopters?
Sounds like it should work to me...

As usual, I've got some side bets on how quickly you'll drop this new G2 project. Make me lose for a change. lol
Happy landings
