Its cold here in Michigan. So cold that the ski resorts and colleges have closed. Some counties have issued a travel ban where only essential vehicles are allowed on the road. And we're supposed to get 3 to 7 more inches of lake effect snow.  |

We got the cold and the wind but not the snow. Coldest since 1996. Wind chill 45-50 below the last 2 days. This weekend it's supposed to be in the 30's and then another arctic blast. I'm flying off the ice road this weekend, then back into hibernation.

I think I'm thawing out.. it was a nice 2*F today. Nice change compared to what we've been having.

In the 70's it was all about another ice age then Al Gore come along and it was global warming I think we are back to the ice age thing.
