I was unable to find the original article but here is the basis of it.
Just thought i would provide this, as i know im a terrible speller. And unless its a very unusual word 99% of the time the human mind can dechiper what is ment even when a word is misspelled. Guess its a pet peve of mind to have people take away from a thread by posting hey you misspelled this and that, when such things could go to a Private message to insure the topic stays on topic.

I showed this to my wife a few weeks ago and told her all you need is to know the beginning and end, AND everything has to be in a logical order. Then most people can read it. Which translates to: If I know where I am and where I want to go and someone has half a brain making these roads, Why The He// Do I Need To Ask For Directions? I just got the eye roll Made sense to me ;D

actually another test was done, it in its own way proved that mis spelling of common words is what we notice the most, or words we have exposre to alot. but uncommon words used in a unusal original sentence do not translate properly. So basically everything i just typed here could be misspelled and everyone would read it just fine. I think the main problem is people do notice misspelled words because it looks odd with only one in a sentence misspelled verses the whole thing above. But either way i thought it was something to share so we remind ourselfs to stay on topic rather then hijack a thread just to say you misspelled something.
I can see typing to the topic, then mentioning it later at the bottom. But to post hey you misspelled that and thats all you say could go to a PM very easily.
I dont mind being corrected just hate it when it takes a thread off topic.
