Anyone have either the 6EX or 7C transmitter? If so, what are your impressions?

I don't have either sol, but, for what it's worth, I've never heard a negative word on any Futaba, from anyone who owns one, save a few issues on some complexity in programming.
Happy landings

That things got more features than a Mclaren SLR. I know a guy who says has one of them. According to him; The first day he had it he left it at the field and while he was gone somebody picked it up and started messing with it and the Tx locked it's self. That's right, according to him, it stopped working because the Tx knows it's owner. It's a security feature. And at that price it needs one. The owner then had to call Futaba to get in unlocked. He felt kind of foolish, but the Futaba guy told him that it had happened before. This made the guy feel a little better, but then the Futaba guy added, "This was the first time anyone had it less than 24 hr.'s and had to call to get it unlocked." LOL Also according to the guy; You can also program aerobatics, snap rolls, loops, etc. so that you don't have to manually fly them. Flip a switch and presto, one loop coming up. I think ern needs one of these for his new 600. Happy landings

14 chs might sound excessive for helis, but for FW planes, at the level this Tx was built for, the 14 chs. aren't. Think of 4 engines, flaps, lights, landing gears, gun turrets, bomb bays, rockets etc. with all the usual functions like rudder, elevator, ailerons and you might be thinking you don't have enough chs. ;D
Happy landings
