Is it normal for my rudder to start adjusting itself when I throttle up? This is with out pushing the red button so its just the pitch moving up and down.
Also, what is the proper way to adjust the tail servo? I turned the TX on with the trims and sticks centered and the servo was centered. Then I slid the servo back and forth until the rudder blades looked to be centered. Is this the proper way?

Personally,I remove the servo horn,center the rudder by hand,plug in the battery and let the servo center,unplug the battery,reattach the servo horn and then use trim tabs to dial it in. Just me tho

When you plug the battery in you are powering up the heli eclectronics including the Rx, servos and gyro. The red button only arms the motor. The tail servo takes directions from the gyro and normally the tail slider will move to reflect the gyros heading.
The servo arm should be centered, or close to centered, and tail slider should not be centered. The slider should be slightly closer to the boom.
Tail servo set up: There's more than one way to do this. The recommended way to set up the tail is to bypass the gyro and plug the servo directly into the Rx. When powered up with the trim on the TX centered the servo arm should center in the middle of the servo's rotational range. If you've never had the servo arm off the tail servo it should be close to centered. If it isn't remove it and center it. Then, slide the servo holder on the boom to center the tail slider on the tail shaft. Then plug the servo back into the gyro and plug the gyro back into the Rx. When you plug the battery back in the gyro will take over and move the slider slightly towards the boom. This is the proper positon for the slider. Many new G2 owners are confused by this as they think the slider should be centered. The positon of the slider and tail rotor is set to counteract the initial torque from the main blades and prevent the heli from spinning counter clockwise. If for some reason the heli does spin counter clockwise, and the gyro is on "NOR" and "REV", then slide the tail up the boom slightly to correct.
The other way to do the tail set up assumes that the servo arm is already centered on the servo. Leave all servo and gyro wiring in their locations. Power the heli up and observe the tail slider; if it creeps slightly towards the boom then the tail will be about right. If it is centered, while still powered up, slide the the servo holder slightly up the boom to locate the slider. Do this very carefully so as not to change the heading on the gyro or strip the servo gears in the process.

Thanks for the reply guys. That helps a lot.
So is it normal that my tail servo starts to move when I am throttling up? Not spooling up the motor, just pushing the throttle stick up. Like there is some interference maybe with the throttle and rudder? I can't remember it doing that before but it just might be because I was not paying attention before. (yes Im a noob. Can ya tell?)
